Fighting for sensible gun rights.

Don't let politics stop us from making our schools, workplaces, houses of worship and America safe from senseless violence.

The Problem

There are 100's of gun deaths in the US every single day. Far more than any other developed country. Companies are marketing bulletproof backpacks to parents for the protection of their children. The Gun Lobby supports putting military grade weapons in the hands of civilians.

The Solution

Joining Americans together, we will fight constantly and perpetually for a reasonable and sensible interpretation of the 2nd Amendment. No longer will there be time away for the Gun Lobby to manipulate our politicians and laws between mass shootings. We will effectively lobby for common sense gun laws that Americans can support.

We Need You

Membership is everything. Millions of sensible Americans standing together with one voice, will empower us to drive permanent change. We are here for long run and believe this is the best way to effect necessary change.

Who are we?

Dismayed by the lack of organization and the overreaching control of the Gun lobby, we decided to start The SWA. A unique membership based organization dedicated to common sense gun laws while providing valuable services to our membership and beyond. We are NOT against the 2nd amendment. We are FOR common sense guns laws. We can only do this with massive amounts of our fellow citizens  joining us.

Our Top Priorities

Ban Sale of Weapons of WAr

Nobody needs military grade weapons at home. We want to ban assault-style weapons, high capacity ammunition magazines, undetectable weapons, and modification products that enable or emulate automatic weapons.

Improve School Security

We will work with veteran security professionals to consult with schools to improve physical security in order to deter attacks and further planned countermeasures to mitigate an active engagement situation.

Universal Background Checks

The vast majority of Americans and NRA members support the use of background checks to screen out violent individuals including those on the do not fly lists and terrorist watch lists.
